ADAPTED's Young Researchers Shine at IMI 10th Anniversary Scientific Symposium

The ADAPTED Project's young scientists showcased some of the incredible work being done within the Project at the IMI 10th Anniversary Scientific Symposium last week in Brussels.

Laura Madrid of CAEBi, Dr. Peter Reinhardt of Abbvie and Dr. Benjamin Schmid of Bioneer displayed their stellar work and made a great impression on those attending.

Laura Madrid presented a poster on "Candidate genes and pathways from ADAPTED stage 1 integrative analyses". Peter and Benjamin presented their work on using CRISPR technology to generate iPSC-based cell lines to study APOE and its role in Alzheimer's disease.

The Scientific Symposium was held as part of IMI's 10th year anniversary and aimed to highlight the innovative science IMI projects have been doing, particularly by young researchers.
