ADAPTED 5th Consortium Meeting in Seville
The ADAPTED Consortium held their 5th meeting in the beautiful city of Seville last week on the 18th and 19th of October. The consortium were hosted by ADAPTED partner CAEBi, who are a leading bioinformatic research centre in Andalusia, Spain.
The meeting was a kick-off point for the final year of the ADAPTED project and focused strongly on discussion, communication and setting out the goals of the project in the final year.
The first day of the meeting allowed for each partner to give an "Elevator Pitch" of the work they have been doing and major achievements so far, before the consortium split into two separate parallel discussions. One discussion was centred on the cell research side of ADAPTED and the other focused on the clinical data and bioinformatics research.
These discussions were brought together on the morning of the second day to fully align the work planned for the final year, followed by more detailed updates from some partners.
Many posters were brought to the meeting, which made for a variety of interesting discussions and exchanges between partners.
The collaborative spirit and passion of every researcher was evident at the meeting and continues to propel the ADAPTED Project further toward achieving its goals.
