ADAPTED presented at AAIC 2018

Members of the ADAPTED team (pictured above) attended the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) in Chicago, USA.

The AAIC is the world's largest forum for sharing research within the dementia research community. The conference brings together researchers from all around the globe to report and discuss innovative research data on the cause of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and on potential methods for successfully preventing or treating these diseases.

The ADAPTED team made a number of presentations at the conference on different aspects of the project; the cell models being developed, results from initial analyses of clinical samples and network analyses of datasets collected. These presentations generated a great deal of interest from researchers outside the project and various collaborations are being considered.
